Beethoven considered music “the voice of God”, and until the last century most musicians nurtured their gifts into skillful tools for inspiring exalted praise and worship to the one who gave us all our various talents. Although humankind has spent fifty years or so transcribing focus towards the self, God has remained faithful to those who recognize His supremacy over everything He created.

One component of His massive blueprint are the ministries of the global Jubilee World, of which the Jubilee Symphony Orchestra is an essential ingredient. Like the hand needs the arm and the yeast needs the wheat, the JSO could not be effective without its parent organization, the Christian community, and God. Therefore, we meet as a group of specialists in classical music to prepare and present excellent performances of the music God has provided us – both ‘secular’ and ‘religious’ – in order to inspire and lead effective praise and worship.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31

Our society is currently battling with ‘faith vs. self’ and therefore

  • We welcome all competent musicians and music fans, whose trust in God is real as well as those who are seeking
His grace and forgiveness, to become passionate members and participants of the JSO.

  • We explore all opportunities throughout New York City to serve and partner with those who wish to share
the Gospel of Christ through concert performance, special services, worship materials, and praise gatherings.

  • Our music is well-prepared, challenging, familiar, as well as stimulating.

  • We serve the needs of each performer, church and municipality, who in turn strive to serve believers, disciples
         and seekers.

Thank you for considering the Jubilee Symphony Orchestra as a serious outlet for both your musical gifts and spiritual expression. I trust you will not be disappointed, and look forward to your enthusiastic commitment as a performer, listener, administrator, patron, champion or other valuable volunteer.
